Additional Programs: Benefits That Last A Lifetime
Sports
Good Shepherd School offers numerous opportunities for participation in sports programs as well as extra-curricular activities for students in grades K-6. The sports programs include basketball teams for students in grades K-6, volleyball teams for girls in grades 4-6, and coed soccer teams for girls and boys in fifth and sixth grade. The extra curricular activities include a running club in the springtime for grades K-6 and a down hill Ski Club for grades 3-6. These programs emphasize good sportsmanship, development of basic skills, life long fitness, and having fun.
Invention Convention
Creativity abounds at the Invention Convention, held every other fall for students in grades 5 and 6 (fourth graders may also participate). Students develop and present inventions of their own design. The inventions are judged with possibility of being chosen to go on to regional competition.
Extra-Curricular Activities
Extra-curricular activities offer our students the opportunity to practice skills learned in the classroom, develop and strengthen friendships, and have fun! The following activities are offered at different times throughout the school year. Please contact the school office for more information.
